Colorado State Veterans Home
Caring for our nation's veterans

The first residents at the new 180-bed, $25-million Colorado State Veterans Home are enjoying the park-like atmosphere of the 15-acre site on the western edge of Fitzsimons. The facility's cozy, residential character and focus on individual patient health and wellness deliver quality services to Colorado veteran's within a comfortable, home-like atmosphere.

The State Veterans Home offers a home-like environment with state-of-the-art medical and rehabilitation facilities.
The first of six planned facilities to serve the state's veterans, the facility includes experienced staff, the latest equipment and programs for long-term and geriatric patients to ensure exceptional 24/7 care. The facility also includes a residential care unit for dementia disorders, such as Alzheimer's.

The two-story desing features residential-style dining areas, landscaped interior and many of the comforts of home.

The facility is run by the Colorado Department of Human Services, on land donated by the Fitzsimons Redevelopment Authority.
