University Physicians, Inc. began occupying their new headquarters and operations center on a three-acre site at Fitzsimons in March of 2004. The site is located at Wheeling and Colfax, adjacent to the I-225 redevelopment corridor. UPI is the first building in a 25-30 acre site designated by the Fitzsimons Redevelopment Authority for office, retail and hotel development.

UPI is a full-service management organization responsible for the administration of all professional clinical activities of physicians employed by the University of Colorado School of Medicine. It is the manager of a multi-specialty medical group practice to provide a single point of contracting and marketing for the School's clinical programs.
