The Children's Hospital Fitzsimons
Constructing a pediatric healthcare complex

By late 2007, The Children's Hospital (TCH) expects to complete a 1.2 million square-foot hospital complex on 41.2 acres, featuring the new hospital, an ambulatory care building, one office building, and both surface and structured parking in Fitzsimons' southeast quadrant. This space will house a private inpatient facility, diagnostic and surgery suites, outpatient clinics, research space, medical staff and administrative offices. The budget for this project is $462 million.

The new hospital will serve as headquarters for the Children's Network of care, which includes 14 facilities and outreach to three states--enabling TCH to extend its services to children of Colorado and beyond. Affiliation with the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, and location at Fitzsimons will offer Children's a centralized location for its complex care, research and education expertise, with room to grow.

Construction on the mini-campus is set to begin in 2004. For more information, please visit
