The biotech hub of the West
Introducing Colorado Bioscience Park Aurora

According to a recent report by the consulting firm of Ernst & Young, Colorado's biotechnology industry is experiencing skyrocketing growth rates that far outpace other states. The 160-acre Colorado Bioscience Park Aurora at Fitzsimons is playing an integral role in this development.

Modeled after three successful research parks on the East Coast, the Colorado Bioscience Park Aurora provides opportunities, equipment, facilities and resources for early stage and startup research-oriented biotechnology, drug-development and medical-device companies to develop. Established companies also can utilize the full range of resources to operate and grow.

Companies in the Colorado Bioscience Park Aurora benefit from collaborative opportunities from close association with the Univeristy of Colorado as the only academic-affiliated bioscience park in the country.
Affiliation offers advantages
The research park is administered by the Fitzsimons Redevelopment Authority and is formally affiliated with the University of Colorado. This affiliation provides companies at the bioscience park access to the resources of the region's largest academic medical center as they utilize emerging science to pioneer discoveries benefiting global health care.

The park is the first of its kind west of the Mississippi. During the course of the next two decades, Colorado Bioscience Park Aurora is planned for complete build-out of four-million square feet and a workforce of 4,000.

Biotech on the grow
At completion, Colorado Bioscience Park Aurora is destined to rival the better biotechnology hotspots in the world. In addition to its scientific benefits, the Bioscience Park will dramatically impact the economy and lifestyle of Aurora and the state of Colorado.
