The first phase of a new urban-centered residential/ commercial complex is scheduled to open in late 2007 at the center of the Fitzsimons square mile "Life Sciences City".

The $57 million project, developed by The Pauls Corporation, will emulate a traditional village center and anchor the north end of a 35-acre zone that incorporates centralized amenities to serve a rapidly growing scientific-entrepreneurial community including over 550 mid rise residential units, restaurants and convenience retail. The Square at Fitzsimons will be built in two phases.

Ongoing development at Fitzsimons will directly benefit the businesses and communities surrounding the site through increased jobs, opportunities and urban renewal. By 2010, more than 34,800 jobs will be supported by the site. At full development, Fitzsimons will support more than 66,800 jobs across Colorado, providing state labor income of more than $2.45 billion annually.
